About Wren

Wren came to this work after the death of her father, when she noticed that most people around her wanted her to be “doing better” long before she was.

She trained as a hospice volunteer and has spent years sitting with people at the edges of things. She’s comfortable with silence, with crying, and with the odd inappropriate joke.

She’s not a therapist, and she’ll say so. If you need more than she offers, she’ll help you find it.

Good for

  • Losing someone
  • The end of a relationship
  • Children leaving home
  • Retiring, moving, or any big ending

Sessions with Wren

  • A first conversation

    45 minutes

Space to tell the story of what’s happened, at your own pace. Nothing to prepare.

  • Walking alongside

    60 minutes

Regular sessions, weekly or monthly, for as long as they’re useful.

  • A ritual for an ending

    90 minutes

Wren helps you design a small ceremony to mark something ending, whether that’s a loss, a divorce or a house you’re leaving.

By video or phone. Wren’s rate comes with the reply, and nothing is booked until you say yes.
